Stitching News

Lady Judith, who used to be Afternoon Judith. Why the change? The mug she uses says "Lady Of The Manor"  so 'Lady Judith' it is from now on, To curtsey or not to curtsey? that is a good question... finished piecing this quilt, started at the workshop last Saturday and after sandwiching made a good start on the quilting
PM Pam chose to make her Spinning quilt with Christmas fabrics... it was originally a Christmas Wreath quilt after all. Pam almost finished the quilting during the day too, so I expect we shall need to polish our trumpets ready for tooting both ladies next week.
Longport Lynda continued making Hour Glass blocks for her Chunky Churndash quilt. It's going to be a beauty with all the delicious purples she chose to use... This is another favourite design of mine from Quiltville.
Cynthia is back with us... she's had bionic bits fitted to one leg, ha ha ha, she says it's a new knee but I've noticed how fast she's walking! Cynth was making a Cathedral Window pin cushion... and talking... I think she's missed her stitchy chums.
Chris not only finished her Railfence table runner in record time and started a Mat and Ruler Bag with free motion quilting, she's making Ohio Star blocks that will be transformed into a baby quilt... woooops... of course I mean a Play Mat!
Is that fabric cute or what!!!
Having made a super sized sandwich at Caverswall Quilt Cave last week, Jean Bean started the mammoth job of quilting. She's needing to stitch diagonally from the centre to the edges and keeps loosing her way... Lines... she's now drawing guide lines and finding it a little easier... but only a little!
