Quilt Cave

A freezing cold day is best spent in a warm Quilt Cave stitching with your quilty chums, don't you think?
Anneliese bought in her Winter Round Robin, all quilted and finished ready to be stored away until next winter. I think she is the first one of us to finish it.
Garen has started quilting hers too, the border is done and most of the centre, some places are difficult because of the embellishing.
Anita finished her "Square Dance" project from last week. She made it into a cushion cover.
These are Anita's strips cut ready for her Bargello wall hanging, it is much easier to keep everything in order using one of these hanging thing, and the order is VERY important with a bargello project.
Regina joined us, she is now working on her Easter Log Cabin project, hopefully Easter 2009.... he he he
A happy moment, Regina kept talking to baby Alexia while Arabela was trying to feed her so it wasn't working well, Regina does enjoy a little mischief! Blanca called in to visit too.
Arabela did get a lot of stitching done in spite of her motherly duties.
Anita stitching her strip sets together....
Ana was working on a baby quilt with dinosaurs and lots of bright colours.
This is Anita's scissor pocket, what a brilliant idea, it is made from a rectangle of fabric. I will post the link to the instructions once she sends them to me.
Therese was working on the borders of her Pineapple Blossom quilt, we got very creative with the border, as I am sure you will see next week.
These are some of Ana's dinosaur blocks.

Next Thursday the IWP ladies will be working on the Charity quilts that we have been thinking about for ages. It should be fun.
